I know first hand about discrimination just for being who I was born to be, for who I innately am. I’ve experienced countless incidents over time where I was verbally attacked, harassed online but mainly by nameless profiles 🙄, and even nearly 2.5 years ago when slurs were hurled at me and even physically attacked to see my jaw broken on George St. ![]()

As I’ve emphasized before, if you observe discrimination of any kind from your friends, family, or from people you associate with, please call it out, educate them and let them know it’s completely unacceptable. ![]()

Sure, these vile moments were, quite honestly, challenging on my soul, but I will never let my light dim because of hatred. And neither should you! ![]()

Ally’s, even in the western world we don’t live in a utopia of acceptance. Attacks are on the rise, legislation being passed or tabled that will harm our community and many other injustices at home and abroad. We need you to stand toe to toe with us, now more than ever before! ![]()

I've had an extra day to sleep on it and although these never get easier. I know the issues and solutions I bring forward matter, and a voice like mine with different lived experienced belong and are important at decision making tables.![]()

Again, I want to congratulate Tom Davis.. 1 also want to thank and congratulate Myles & Nick for taking part in the frontlines of our democracy and running fair and positive campaigns. I believe each candidate had ideas that could move our city forward.![]()

In the interim I still plan on advocating for proper changes to alleviate the tax burden, making our city accessible and inclusive and making St. Johns as vibrant as possible.![]()
